Younergy’s photovoltaic installation division joins the Swiss Solar Group

September 26, 2023, Ecublens / Zurich - The photovoltaic (PV) installation arm of Younergy in Switzerland joins Swiss Solar Group. Following the entry of SeetalSolar in January this year, Younergy's photovoltaic division is the second Swiss company to become part of Swiss Solar Group. The addition of the Younergy solar installation subsidiary represents another strategic step by Swiss Solar Group to further expand and simplify access to smart and clean energy throughout Switzerland. Post this transaction, the remainder of the Younergy group, which remains independent, is undergoing a rebranding process and will be known as Youdera while the Swiss PV and installation division will keep the name Younergy. 

Younergy - The Swiss photovoltaic installation expert

Younergy's photovoltaic installation business, consisting of a specialized division with 70 professionals, joins the Swiss Solar Group. CEO Manuel Burneo says: "In Swiss Solar Group we have found a partner who shares our vision of making solar energy accessible to all. The Swiss Solar Group's participation relates exclusively to Younergy's Swiss photovoltaic and installation business. The name "Younergy" will be retained. The rest of the Younergy Group, remaining independent, is undergoing a rebranding process and will operate under the name "Youdera" in the future [more here].

Younergy's Lausanne-based photovoltaic division focuses on customized solutions in the areas of solar installations, battery storage, and electric mobility for residential and commercial use. It operates nationwide and has installation centers in the French- and German-speaking parts of Switzerland. The 70 employees of Swiss Solar Group will continue to work autonomously and additionally benefit from the expertise of the group. This includes recruitment, finance, marketing and data.
